  Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Wohngegend, direkt an einem See. Als "Basislager" für Unternehmungen in und um Ulm ist es hervorragend geeignet. Donau, Schwäbische Alb, Altstadt Ulm - es gibt schon in der Nähe viel zu sehen und zu erleben. Auch andere Ziele sind schnell zu erreichen. Danke für diesen Haustausch - Yvonne, Yara und Jan

  Thank you for a great home exchange. Your home was very comfortable and welcoming. We particularly appreciated your suggestions about where to visit and the fact that they had all been translated into English! Your home has a gift of a location. It sits next to a beautiful park with a lake where we could swim in sunny weather and it was perfectly located for day trips further afield. Particular highlights for us were a boat trip on Lake Constance to the scenic town of Meersburg, the interesting zeppelin museum in Friedrichshafen and a day wandering round the historic city of Augsburg. We made the most of our good value DB travel pass and the use of your bikes to explore and access shops. We also thank you for looking after our home so well. A thoroughly enjoyable exchange.

  Familie Fiedler hat uns unseren ersten Haustausch durch ihre unkomplizierte und entspannte Art sehr leicht gemacht. Sie wohnen schön gelegen, direkt an einem (Bade-) See, mitten in der Natur, mit vielen Spiel- und Sportmöglichkeiten ( Tischtennis, Basketball, Fussball,...). Trotzdem ist man auch schnell in schönen Städten. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht und wir haben viele Informationen für das Haus und die Umgebung bekommen. Außerdem standen wir stets in freundlichem Kontakt. Familie Fiedler ist sehr gut mit unseren Sachen umgegangen, habe sich um unsere Kaninchen gekümmert und wir haben unsere Wohnung so vorgefunden, wie wir sie verlassen haben. Vielen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft und einen tollen ersten Tausch !

• Comfortable house to discover Ulm and around

  We had a really nice stay in Neu-Ulm. The house of Sonja and Thomas is spacious and comfortable. Even during the heatwave it felt cool and the lake around the corner was terrific! We visited Ulm and it was surprisingly beautiful. We cycled a lot, the bike ways are safe and easy even with young children. We also visited lego land, it is just around the corner. It was a very nice home exchange! Thank you Sonja, Thomas, Benedict, Mirjam and Mathias

  wir haben eine interessante Gegend das erste Mal kennen gelernt und sind begeistert von der Stadt und der Region. Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal. Mann ist schnell in der Natur und an einem Badesee und andererseits mit dem ÖPNV schnell in Ulm bzw. Neu-Ulm. Die Kommunikation und Organisation war problemlos und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. • Super, tolles Haus und eine tolle Gegend

  Für uns war das ein CHILLING Urlaub. Durch den Park und den Badesee keine 300m. enternt, konnten wir uns schön zurücklehnen, die Kinder konnten sich dort gut selbst beschäftigen. Durch die Fahrräder der Familie, konnten viele schöne Radtouren machen. Ulm ist eine freundliche Stadt, die Donau verlockt einen zum Spazieren oder radeln. Dadurch dass die Stadt so zentral liegt, konnten wir Touren an den Bodensee, Allgäu machen. Das Willkommensgeschenk hat unseren Kindern gut geschmeckt und gab uns viel neue Gelegenheiten zum lachen ;-) Danke, dass wir diese Zeit in Euren Haus genießen konnten. Neu Ulm bleibt bei uns in super toller Erinnerung.

  We really enjoyed our stay in your home.It is very comfortable. The lake ist so close, is a great attraction and we use it a lot. The indications received were very useful to explore all the surroundings. Ulm and its spectacular medieval cathedral were a great attraction as well as the fishermen's quarter. We also had a lot of interest in knowing the city where one of the great geniuses of science, Albert Einstein, was born. In fact we look for everything related to him in the city. • Herrlicher Badesee vor der Haustür

  Wir konnten die ganze Woche das Auto stehen lassen, da die Gegend rund um Neu-Ulm wunderbar mit Fahrrad zu erkunden ist. Der Iller-Radweg ist toll und auch in die Innenstadt zur Donau ist es nicht weit. Den Badesee vor der Haustür haben wir ausgiebig genutzt und auch ein Erdbeerfeld ist gleich um die Ecke. Vielen Dank für diesen Tausch, wir haben ihn genossen! Beate und Josef

• Lovely quiet and spacious home by the lake

  We really enjoyed our stay in Ulm. The house is lovely and spacious, and very quiet and comfortable. The swimming lake is really close by and is safe for families. Legoland is just around the corner, and we had a very enjoyable time there. As well as the attractions of Ulm, including the spectacular medieval cathedral, and beautiful fishermans' quarter, Munich is about an hour and half away by the excellent train and bus services. There are also many castles and forests to explore. Sonja's English is excellent! Thank you for a great holiday.

• Perfekt für Familien!

  Großes Haus mit Garten in ruhiger Siedlung und unweit vom malerischem See. Bücher und Spielzeug für Groß und Klein, unsere Kinder hätten lieber den ganzen Tag dort Playmobil gespielt, so pudelwohl haben sie sich gefühlt! Das Haus ist aber eben auch optimaler Startpunkt für Ausflüge in die Schwäbische Alb: Ob Ulm, Schloss Lichtenstein, Blaubeuren, Aalen, das Ravensburger Spieleland oder das Steiff Museum...alles bequem zu erreichen und unbedingt eine Reise wert!

• Spent most of our time at the lake !

  The lake was fabulous, with the temperatures getting into the 30's, so we spent the first 5 days there. The house is lovely and in a really quiet area. 3 big supermarkets nearby meant that shopping was really easy. Ulm is great, with a lovely pizza cafe and the Steiff shop. We felt relaxed and at home from the minute we walked in. Thank you for letting us in your house. Alistair, Sally, Connor and Alex
