A beautiful and comfortable oasis.
We are very grateful to Wendy and Jacky for this wonderful exchange in their elegant and comfortable home. A superb starting point for discovering the region: Montpellier, Camargue, beautiful beaches at Palavas and Carnon, historic towns of Aigues Mortes, Arles, St. Maries de la Mer & many more. There were lazy days spent in the pool and garden too... and the icing on the cake for us was the direct flight from our local airport, Shannon to Beziers - just 45 mins away from Clapiers. Lovely sunny exchange!
We've had a lovely exchange with Jacky and Wendy. Lots of communications throughout and very responsive to various emails and messages. It's in a great part of France and as it was so hot while we were there we were so thankful for the huge beautiful pool at the house. There are loads of places to visit (if you can drag yourself away from the pool) and lovely local wine to drink, which was left for us to try. We had waited over a year for the exchange due to covid and it was well worth it. Jacky and Wendy looked after our house very well and were great to work with. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Magnifique logement, très beau séjour !
Nous avons passé 10 jours superbes dans cette belle région. visites de Montpellier - Sète .. journée à la plage , mais nous avons surtout beaucoup profité de ce beau logement au cœur d’un jardin magnifique avec cette belle piscine ... qui nous a permis de nous rafraîchir avec grand plaisir ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir en Occitanie! Merci à nos hôtes !
Beautiful house and pool in a lovely area.
We had a great time in the magnificent l'Ocittanie area . Wendy and Jacky's house is lovely and is a super base to visit all the areas they had advised to see in their comprehensive welcome notes (which they handily sent in advance for planning purposes). Our communication throughout and planning in advance worked out very well .The large pool was great for our 3 girls and we all enjoyed it immensely over the 2 weeks. Clapiers is a nice small village , with welcoming locals ,very good selection of bakeries and a good fruit and veg shop. Montpellier itself is a magic mix of sounds,sights,smells and atmosphere with excellent tram links available from near Clapiers.The beaches too are nearby and easily accesible . We really enjoyed our first experience of the South of France and particularly , this lovely area. Thanks Wendy and Jacky. Michael,Niamh and family.
