Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We have a large semi detached house in a rural village with two pubs a shop and friendly village community. The house consists of three double bedrooms one ensuite a family bathroom and study up stairs. On the ground floor we have a large kitchen dinner, a living room running the full length of the house with wood burner, conservatory and utility area with downstairs WC.A large flower garden both front and back with views up to the Yorkshire Wolds. Within the garden at the rear is a summer house, hot tub, water feature brick built BBQ and greenhouse.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Rillington village is on the main A64 linking Scarborough to Leeds making the village well connected to many sites of interest within a half hours drive. The neighbours are friendly but keep themselves to themselves but are always willing to help when required.We have highlighted a number of activities that are within ten minutes drive of our home.

We sit on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park to the North and the Howardian Hills Area of outstanding National Beauty to the south. We are only 20 minutes from the ancient walled city of York., 15 minutes from Castle Howard and the site of the "Brideshead Revisited" location. The coast Whitby Filey Scarborough are 20 minutes away.10 minutes from the railway station which has links to Manchester airport and is connected to trains for London and Edinburgh. Ten minutes drive away is Malton / Norton on Derwent which has many attractions from theatre cinema swimming pool golf tennis squash courts bowling club petrol station four supermarkets and numerous cafes restaurants and pubs. Within walking distance is Scampston Hall and gardens with cafe and Capability Brown designed park land.Scampston Hall was the location for the BBC film of J.B. Priestly's "The Inspector Calls"Pickering Town 10 minutes away has a steam railway that travels to Whitby.
