Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Spacious and comfortable home in South Orange County. Close to many attractions - drive one hour or less to Disneyland, Knott's, Los Angeles, San Diego and many beaches (Huntington, Laguna, San Clemente, etc.).
Our home has beds to sleep 6 comfortably: 3 bedrooms upstairs with a queen bed and 2 twin beds and a downstairs bedroom with a queen bed. Our living areas are open concept with the entire downstairs open from the family room through the kitchen and dining room to the living room. Our formal living room has a piano and we have 2 large flat screen TVs for movie watching. We also have a dedicated office and a loft with space for homeschooling. We have a large backyard with fire pit, gas grill, trampoline and spa. We have indoor laundry and our home is fully air conditioned with high speed wifi.
Our home in Rancho Santa Margarita is on the end of a cul de sac with friendly neighbors, many parks and a community pool within walking distance.

Our home is at the end of a cul de sac with no neighbors directly behind. It is a family friendly and pet-friendly area with lots of parks, tennis courts, basketball courts and a community pool one block away.
Situated in the foothills of the stunning Santa Ana Mountains, and just 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean, Rancho Santa Margarita offers a number of wilderness parks, a skate park, dog park, and state of the art Bell Tower Regional Community Center all provide endless recreation opportunities. Rancho Santa Margarita ranks as the second safest city in California!

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
There are many things to do with our home as your home base. Orange County has many beautiful beaches to explore and we are about 20 minutes to most of them. Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm are also 20-30 minutes away. We are within driving distance to both San Diego (45 minutes), Los Angeles (1 hour), Hollywood (1 hour) and even Las Vegas (4-5 hours).

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
Our home is neat and clean, but also well-lived in and comfortable. We can arrange for you to hire a house cleaner if you desire, but it is not necessary. We will arrange for lawn care, but will need someone to water indoor and outdoor plants. We have neighbors that will take care of our dog if you want to take a short getaway.
Our family includes a golden retriever dog, which we keep with a short hair cut. Smoking is not allowed inside. Children are welcome here and we have many games and toys here for your use. A few indoor and outdoor plants may need occasional watering during your stay; we will provide instructions.
We have family members that are highly allergic to cats, so they are not allowed.
We have 2 cars that we can additionally work out so that you can use during your stay.
