My husband and I are elementary school teachers. We have 3 children, 15 year old twin daughters and an 8 year old son. We also have a dog, he is a Cavapoo, and is non shedding and hypoallergenic. We find someone else to care for the dog when we have an exchange. As teachers, we have summers off of work and prefer to do our traveling then or during other school vacation weeks.

Located in Boston's West Roxbury section, a part of the city that maintains a neighborhood feel. Warm and comfortable second and 3rd floor unit in two family house. Many restaurants and markets close by. Walk to Arnold Arboretum, a lovely green space park operated by Harvard University. Within a few miles (a 30 minute or less city drive) to any popular Boston attraction including New England Aquarium, Quincy Market, the Freedom Trail and Fenway Park. One hour drive to Cape Cod beaches. Public bus and rail transportation very close by.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
From our house it is less than 1 mile to the main street in West Roxbury. Here you will find two of our favorite restaurants along with a market called Roche Brothers, some small shops and coffee shops. Another short walk will take you to a neighborhood called Roslindale, where you will also find some nice restaurants, shops and markets. For walking, jogging or bike riding, there is a beautiful green space called the Arnold Arboretum about 1 mile from our home.
