Easy access to Sebastopol (pop. 8,000) town center (3 miles), Sonoma Coast (10 miles), Russian River (10 miles), Alistair McKenzie's Northwood golf course, (12 miles), Santa Rosa (pop. 200,000) (8 miles) and dozens of award-winning wineries. Car available. Caretaker on site.

Home is in an active vineyard farming area, and there is periodic seasonal vine-tending, harvesting, tractor work and non-toxic spraying. We have lived with it for 25 years and find it unobtrusive.

It is important that we find our house neat and tidy when we return. Because we have softwood floors, we ask our guests to take off their shoes when they enter. Because we have natural, coastal air conditioning most afternoons during the summer, we have only fans for cooling. Overnight temps in the 50's. And because our winters are mild, we comfortably heat our home with a wood stove.
