Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our home in Seattle is nestled in a quiet neighborhood less than a mile from beautiful Puget Sound and a large waterfront park.
Our home is a quiet refuge with friendly neighbors, a large yard with hot tub, new kitchen, and comfortable furnishings. The lower level of our home contains a percussion studio and massage studio which you are welcome to indulge in. Although we technically only have 2 bedrooms (Our master bedroom and my young teen's bedroom) we can also accommodate more guests by a comfortable inflatable bed, a pull-out couch, and / or just a sleeping bag on the tv couch.
We have a Subaru available for use as well as bicycles.
We are interested in US long weekends and short vacations as well as a several week exchange in the summer to almost anywhere!

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our home is on a cul-de-sac in a quiet residential neighborhood. We have neighbors who will welcome you. We're a few short blocks from a large in-city park with trails that lead to the waterfront. A nice small neighborhood center nearby has shops and restaurants. Downtown is 15 minutes away by car or nearby bus lines with museums, shopping, great restaurants and the Pike Place Market. Seattle is a beautiful city located within driving distance to spectacular mountains and seashores. Recreational activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, and skiing are abundant. Vancouver and Portland, OR are just a few hours away.
