Just five minutes away is the best beach in the USA, Siesta Key, an expansive beach of pure white silicon sand which does not get hot! Sarasota (home of the Ringling Bros. circus and art museum) is a great arty small town to explore is 15 minutes away. Tampa, St Pete (Dali Museum) and Clearwater 55 minutes away, Disney World and Universal Studios two hour drive. To the south Ft Meyers (50 min), Venice (90 min.) and the Everglades.
