I am a retired professor of mathematics and computer science. I am single but frequently travel with a friend. I have had 13 exchanges.
A daughter lives in town.
The picture of me and the monk and woman was taken in Kathmandu. I have been there 9 times. I used to pretend to climb. I have supported the woman since 1996. She is now working on her MBA.!! I first met her in 1992 when she was 11 months old.
Her father was my guide for 3 climbs. She is not going to be a porter! Or worse.!!

Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
My condo is in the most desirable part of San Diego. It has 78M, 780 sq feet, one bedroom, one bath. It is four blocks to the bay, 7 blocks to the heart of the Gaslamp district, where many restaurants and bars exist, and much night life occurs. A couch in the living room makes into a double bed. I have a 2010 Mini Cooper.
The beaches are wonderful, a very few miles from my condo, north to Mission and Pacific Beachs and La Jolla Shores and across the bay to Coronado. There are many golf courses available.
My daughter lives in town and can take care of any problems.
Public transportation is fair.
Los Angeles is 120 miles North.
Tijuana, Mexico is 15 miles South.

The Marina district is the most desirable district in downtown San Diego. It is quiet, but very close to both the bay and the heart of downtown.
There is a nice park just across the street from my condo.

It is four blocks to the bay, Seaport Village and Headquarters, both collections of restaurants and shops. Nine blocks in the other direction is the center of the Gaslamp district, home of many eating and drinking places, and many stores, the center of San Diego.
