Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

My newly renovated 1,100 sq ft condo is on the third floor of a 1920's building with a modern elevator. It's been tastefully decorated in a neutral color palette, and features 11 ft ceilings, large windows, hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling columns, sliding barn doors, a custom bar area, and dramatic lighting fixtures. Modern amenities include a spa-like Travertine tile bathroom, stainless steel appliances, and Caeserstone quartz countertops. It's a very quiet building housing many artists and professionals. The occupants share a large rooftop deck with gas grills, tables, chairs, and chaise lounges overlooking the city. I have a dedicated parking spot in the secure underground garage. For local exchanges, you are welcome to use my parking spot since I'll likely be traveling with my car. For non-local exchanges, a car exchange is possible.

Neighbourhood

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

The Pearl District is a vibrant, upscale neighborhood in the heart of downtown Northwest Portland. The neighborhood offers a plethora of boutiques, bars, restaurants, food carts, grocery stores, and coffee shops, all just steps outside your door. The entire west side of Portland is easily walkable/bikeable, and the Streetcar (light rail), MAX trains, and buses are only a few blocks away if you want to cross the Willamette River and explore the east side as well. You are also close to the Art Museum, Pioneer Square, and the world-famous Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, and Forest Park (with 5,200 acres of hiking and biking trails), and so many other attractions that Portland has to offer.
