Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our home is a comfortably furnished three bedroom, two bath townhome (gardenhome) in lovely Palm Desert, California. A very large master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a lovely bathroom with walk-in shower. French doors lead from the master bedroom onto a private courtyard. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a small private patio. The third bedroom has two twin-sized beds and a patio door leaving out onto a lovely patio. The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom with a bathtub/shower. The living room looks out onto a private patio. The kitchen has french doors leading out onto a private courtyard. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, fridge and stove. A small laundry room is off of the kitchen. A short walk from our house is a lovely residents' pool and spa. A tennis court is at the end of our short street. The surrounding area is tastefully landscaped with desert scape.

Our home is situated within a townhouse complex consisting of 66 units spread over 4 different streets. Within walking distance of our home are: the well known El Paseo shopping district, two large shopping malls, grocery stores, coffee shops, a large variety of restaurants, a movie theatre and hiking trails.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
The closest attraction is El Paseo Shopping District. A short drive away is the Living Desert Zoo. A large theatre with many performances by well-known celebrities is close by. A large-scale community fair is held each Saturday and Sunday and it is about a 30 minute walk away. Downtown Palm Springs hosts a Thursday evening street fair and is popular with guests visiting the area. Palm Springs is approximately 25 minutes away by car. Palm Springs also has a world-class Tram which takes you from the desert to the alpine area in the mountains. The entire desert valley hosts many, many golf courses and is home to PGA Golf events. Indian Wells, a neighbouring community is home to the BNP Paribas Open Tennis Tournament. Hiking in the mountains or the desert is a very popular activity and many trails are nearby our home. San Diego and Los Angeles are approximately 1.5 to 2 hours away by car offering all of the wonderful attractions they are well known for. Disneyland, Universal Studios and San Diego Zoo and miles of beautiful California beaches await your discovery.

It is important for us to find our home in the same condition we left it. We will obviously treat your home the same. This is our second home and seeing that it is in the desert it is not desirable in the summer months due to the extreme heat. The best months to visit our home are from October to mid-May.
