Manhattan, Greenwich Village 2+ bedroom loft

ALL BOOKED FOR 2017
________________________
Ideally located 1200 sq. ft. (111 square meters) loft on Broadway, across the street from NYU and 3 short blocks from Washington Square Park. Easy walking distance to all Greenwich Village & Soho restaurants, galleries, and theatres, as well as Chinatown and Little Italy. No car, but within blocks of all major subway lines. High ceilings. Two full bedrooms (one with queen-sized bed; the other a full-sized bed) and one semi-private lofted sleeping area (perfect for kids), each with a twin-sized mattress; plus two aero beds and a living room futon that opens up into a full-sized bed. Well-equipped kitchen, full bathroom, heavy-duty washer/dryer, dishwasher, all major appliances, cable TV, Verizon FIOS high-speed wifi, Netflix, Amazon Prime Also: folding massage and ping-pong tables, air conditioning, ceiling fans, elevator (6th floor), too many books, and several bicycles. (Yes, there is great biking in NYC!) Roof deck with view, picnic tables, etc. Apartment is well maintained, including a weekly cleaner, but the feel is casual and it is definitely family-friendly. We also have four (low-maintenance) cats and not surprisingly give strong preference to exchangers who can take care of them; we would likewise do the same for your pets.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
I'd have to write a book! Three blocks to Washington Square Park, seven to Union Square. Walking distance to a couple of hundred restaurants and the East & West Village, Soho, Little Italy, and Chinatown, and about a 25-minute walk to Chelsea and the High Line. Times Square is 7 minutes by the subway right outside our door. I could go on...
Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
Probably not traveling again until the summer, but we won't be able to plan for that until February, at the earliest. Only open to exchangers who would take care of our four sweet cats while here. We are, however, sometimes open to hospitality exchanges since we have a spare bedroom.
