A drive to the beach, airport, shopping, museums, performing arts, cycling trails, hiking trails, parks and art galleries are all between 10 to 20 minutes away. Centrally located to Los Angeles, San Diego, Beaches, Mountains, Disneyland Laguna Woods is the place to stay. Just down the road is Laguna Beach, the most beautiful beach in southern California, where you can stroll along the Laguna Beach cliffs to the beach, great for people watching and stunning views of the Pacific. However, you can choose for yourself with access to Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) only 15 minutes away as your gateway to all the varied beach cities along the coast from San Clemente to Newport Beach. For general shopping and movies, the Irvine Spectrum is nearby. For amusement parks, it doesn't get more amusing than Disneyland. For restaurants, boutiques and art, head to Laguna Beach where during the summer the Pageant of the Masters and Festival of the Arts are in full swing. Los Angeles, Hollywood and its environs are an hour away by train or 1 1/2 hours by car. The problem with the favorites section below is there are simply too many to include them all!
