Description of the home we are offering for exchange
OPEN TO VERY LAST-MINUTE EXCHANGES, BUT UNABLE TO EXCHANGE DURING JULY AND AUGUST
Our modest 1900 sq. ft. home is located about 20 miles east of downtown in a pleasant, sunny, neighborhood near Grossmont College. The master bedroom has a cal king bed, bedroom #2 has a queen bed and the third one has one twil.
The 4th bedroom now is our "office", with computer, tv, etc.
My husband is an allergic guy, so about half our our floors are covered with tile. The rest have light-colored carpet that is vacuumed and shampooed often. We have no pets and seek exchanges in homes that also have no pets. Other than that, we are a very easy-going and active retired couple who like doing things outdoors. We have golf clubs, beach and picnic gear, binoculars, daypacks, croquet set, etc. for our guests to use. We are able to offer use of a car.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Suburban area 20 minutes from downtown San Diego and many attractions. In area of single family homes. Groceries one mile away. Large shopping center two miles.
San Diego enjoys about 266 days of sunshine each year, with even more in the El Cajon area where we live. Average rainfall is less than 9 inches per year. We are about 2 hours drive from Los Angeles, 1 hour from beautiful Anza-Borrego Desert and 6 hours to the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains. Our airport is conveniently located downtown next to a picturesque bay shared by cruise ships, military ships, yachts, sailboats, tourist vessels and a ferry.
San Diego offers the attributes of any large city: universities, museums, shopping, etc. But we also have miles of varied walking and bicycle trails, lots of moderately priced golf courses, urban and suburban parks, water activities, famous theater groups and plenty of opportunities to hang out in a beautiful setting and do nothing but watch the sun go down over the ocean
