Our home is located in beautiful Coeur d Alene, a town of 56,000 at the base of the Rocky Mountains with a 23-mile lake at our doorstep. We are 300 feet from the lake and a public beach. Tubbs Hill, a 120 acre natural area with trails and beaches is a short walk away.
You can reach Yellowstone Park 71/2 hrs, Glacier Park 5 hrs, Banff and Lake Louise Parks 61/2 hrs. The National Bison(buffalo) range is 3 hours away in Montana. There are wonderful recreational opportunities close by, hiking, biking, camping, canoeing, and fishing in the summer, snowshoeing and skiing (Schweitzer, Silver Mountain,) in the winter. We have a canoe and bicycles for your use. Seattle is a 5-hour drive if you enjoy some city life. Ironman competition is held each June and can be watched close to our home.
We have a shy 5 year old cat that is inside only and very well behaved.
