The closest area to walk to (about 15 minute walk) includes a food court with multiple restaurants and services including a spa. A very short drive away is Legoland, the beach (m,ultiple beaches), downtown Carlsbad and a little bit longer to the various beach communities (Oceanside, Encinitas, etc). Sand Diego is the micro-berew destination and there are many popular breweries including Port Brewing, Stone, Lost Abbey, etc. There is vibrant restaurant scene in all of North County. Historic 101 is 5 minutes away.
