Owned by Jonathan and Terri, Florida residents that wanted a change of scenery and adventure, this location has it all! We are adventurists that also love to have all the amenities needed to relax and enjoy the scenery of the Smoky's! My husband new of the area because of the Smoky Mountain Steam train as a child so he wanted to go again and introduce me to the area. On first sight, I loved this small town that also offers everything needed from a farmers market, to outdoor play, and the nearby towns of Cherokee and Asheville along with all the marvelous waterfalls in the area. You will be happy you investigated this gem of an area! We sure were!

Welcome to ‘Karolina Dreamin’ - your rustic home-away-from-home where families, couples, and friends can enjoy outdoor adventure in every season! Located close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Railroad just south of Asheville, NC this cozy 2-bed, 1-bath log cabin offers mountain views and at-home amenities to please any nature lover! The vacation rental sits under 10 miles from downtown Bryson City and 3 miles from Nantahala Outdoor Center, where you can white water raft, kayak, and zipline! With the Appalachian Trail, Deep Creek tubing and horseback riding nearby, the adventure never stops. After a fun-filled day, unwind in the hot tub or roast s’mores by the fire pit!

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
The Village View community is across the street from the Nantahala Village Resort where guests can enjoy dining. Also at the entrance of the community is a pub serving food and has live music in the Summer! The community itself is up a small mountain that is great for hiking and the Karolina Dreamin' Cabin has a great view of the Smokey Mountains while also being able to enjoy the outdoor fire pit with real wood bench and/or hot tub and grill on a deck. The outside area is planted with nice plant beds and has hummingbird and bird feeders to enjoy as well!

Right across the street horseback riding is available at the Nantahala Village Riding stables and down the street are several Rafting Companies to enjoy the River. Already mentioned is the Resort across the street for dining and pub at the entrance of the community open in the Summer only.
