Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

Large 3 bedroom home (built only 6 years ago) in rural Wisconsin. Master bedroom with lots of windows and a master bath with shower and jacuzzi tub. 2 other full baths (one upstairs and one downstairs). 2 bedrooms more bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a queen and a loft bunk bed (slide attached!). Large finished basement with entertainment center, pool table, fussball and more. Access to ATV trails and many state parks in the area for hiking and site-seeing. Hiking, fishing, canoeing, outdoor enthusiasts welcome! Children also welcome! We have 2 vehicles, multiple bicycles, ATVs, canoe, raft, and a motorcycle that would be available if so desired.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

We live in the country 10 miles from town. There are visible neighbors on one side of the house, but fields and trees on the other sides. We have plenty of hiking and ATV trails on our property and access to the county trails as well. You would need transportation to get to town, which is small but offers many small town locally owned businesses. With less than an hour drive you will be in Lacrosse or Wisconsin Dells and all the shopping, entertainment, night life, and waterparks you could want.

Our Preferences

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules

We welcome an exchange with another family with children, since our house is set up for a family, and would hope that the house we use is as well. We have 3 well behaved children who are respectful and expect the same from those staying in our home. We are hoping to have a long term exchange since I work from home I will be able to work during our travels and to make the flights worth the trip, it would be great to have long exchanges, however we are open to shorter stays as well. Smoking is not permitted indoors, however we have a lovely deck with a view that may be smoked on, we just request that you dispose of your cigarettes properly.
