Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
From our house, it is 10 minutes and two stoplights to Washington D.C. and all its cultural and historical attractions. Visit all the Smithsonian national museums, Congress and the Library of Congress, the Supreme Court, Lincoln, Jefferson, FDR, WWII and other memorials, not to mention the wonderful National Art Galleries. George Washington's Mount Vernon is 15 miles to the south and shopping and cupcake shops in Georgetown is 10 minutes away and just across the Key Bridge that spans over the Potomac River separating Washington D.C. from our home in Arlington, Virginia.
Within our neighborhood explore the many wonderful wooded parks and walking trails, including those connected to old military forts from the 1800s that sit on high ground over the Potomac River. Arlington features coffee shops, bakeries, and all amenities (supermarkets, etc) that make this a convenient locale.
Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
It is important for us to find our house in neat and tidy condition when we return.
