We had a brilliantly comfortable house exchange with Julie who is a really thoughtful host and left many welcoming touches in her home, which was spotless. Such a pretty garden with visits from local deer as well. We were able to do a good mix of sightseeing as Trowbridge is perfectly placed to get around. Even the weather was on our side!!

Great base for Wiltshire Julie’s house made an excellent base for visiting the area around Trowbridge and further afield. There is an extensive number of National Trust properties within 30 miles, along with the delightful village of Castle Coombe. Bradford on Avon and Devizes are both worthy of a full visit, and the farm shop at White Row is a must for groceries, both green and other. We had splendid weather during our visit, and loved sitting in the colourful garden for an evening G&T.

Julie's home was perfect for us. The minute we walked in the door we knew the comforts and cleaniness were No.1 Worked so well for us and also the car was great for the roads around England. Lots of amazing countryside to see far and wide. Local pub just down the road and supermarket had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. Highly recommend this exchange.

Julie met us off our bus from London and after settling us in we had her car for our exchange. She had already been in my house in New Zealand. The small community on the outskirts of Trowbridge was a lovely area from which to explore both by walking and by car. Trowbridge has everything anyone could want. We also went twice to Bath from there and Julie took us to Castle Coombe for a special day out before we left for Cornwall. The house has lovely views over fields and every comfort anyone could need. Thank you Julie. We miss you!

The house was immaculate and in a quiet position. It was ideally located for visiting the surrounding local area and a visit to the great city of Bath was a highlight

We had a great stay in Trowbridge. Closed to Bath which has so much history. Julie was a great host, picked us up and dropped us back to the bus station. Welcomed and showed us around. Would stay again. Thanks Helen and Ron, Sydney.

We throughtly enjpyed staying at Julias place. She is super organized and we had plenty of helpful advice. She always responds quicly to any enquiries. Thanks for a very successful exchange. Hope we can do the same for her March 2018.

We had a lovely long weekend exploring the surrounding villages and towns. Julie's place is perfectly located fro trips into Bath, Longleat, Bradford on Avon etc. There are some gorgeous places to eat. We loved sitting out in the sunshine by the canal, just watching the world go by :-) A really successful exchange. Maxine and Emily

Our Trowbridge exchange was fabulous! Julie met us at the railway station and on entering her beautiful home we felt immediately welcome. She had gone to so much trouble with everything. Her home is also so close to so many places and the area is stunning.

Our host picked us up and drop us back to the bus station. They were most helpful.
