Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

Large modern Georgian-style family house with sash windows and high ceilings and a games room on the top floor. Large drive with plenty of off road parking. 4/5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 reception rooms, utility room, kitchen, patio areas and a large garden with trampoline.
The house is tucked away in the pretty village of Wanborough a few minutes walk from childrens play area, village shop/post office and several village pubs serving beer and food. Easy access to the M4 motorway. Visit Oxford, Bath, Bristol, Marlborough, Avebury, Stonehenge and London. Walk along the ancient 'Ridgeway' trail.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

We live in the beautiful village of Wanborough that still has its village shop and post office, children's play area and five pubs within walking distance. Quiet village setting but only 10 minutes drive from Junction 15 of the M4 motorway. Drive to Marlborough (20 mins), Avebury Stone Circle (30 mins), Bath (40 Mins), Oxford (50-60 mins), Bristol (1 hour), Warwick Castle (1 hour 20), Stratford Upon Avon (1 hour 30), Stonehenge (1 hour 30), London (1 hour 30 to 2 hours). Within 20 minutes drive: Lydiard Park, Coate Water, public swimming pools, new trampolining centre, ice skating, indoor skate park, children's indoor soft-play, cinemas and restaurants.

You will probably need a car to get around, although there is a very limited bus service.

Train and excellent roads make it just 75 minutes from Central London. Also within easy reach of Oxford, Averbury (both 45 mins), Bath, Bristol (both 1 hour), Salisbury, Stonehenge (both 60 mins) and miles and miles of beautiful countryside.
