Stone is a nice place with all shops necessary for daily shopping, ideally located between different beauty spots like the Cotswolds, Northern Wales, Yorkshire Moors and Dales and Peak district while Birmingham (second largest city of England) and London are also within easy reach.

There we had a beautiful new years evening with the story of the Wassail. See no neighbour at all. As if everyone was on holiday that week.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
This is a modern house in a spacious small development within a village environment. Centrally located in the country, there is easy access to numerous interesting areas. The Peak District National Park is about 40 minutes drive, whilst Stoke on Trent, the home of the potteries industry and Josiah Wedgwood, is just twenty minutes by car. We live about midway between Manchester (40 minutes) and Birmingham, and London is less than 90 minutes away by train. Stratford upon Avon and the Cotswolds are an easy day trip; Chester is a fine example of a Roman town; the Welsh mountains offer a different view; Liverpool, the childhood home of the Beatles, is just over an hour away.
