We had a wonderful 10 days in Reigate. The home and garden are beautiful and every effort was made to ensure we had a very comfortable stay. Our communication was excellent. This is a lovely area just south of London with easy access to the city and the benefit of beautiful walks and drives in the local area. Thank you so much Bruce and Val.

We felt instantly at home in Bruce and Val’s converted barn. Their neighbour was on call to help if needed which made it very easy. Great location near Bayeux and Normandy Beaches which were fascinating. Bruce also left us information about his father’s involvement in the D Day aerial landings which made it even more special. The house was extremely comfortable and well equipped. It was lovely to return home to each night after exploring the area. So much to see and do. We appreciated the welcome meal and extra goodies that were left for us. Great information about local places and restaurants. Thanks Bruce and Val for everything. We look forward both to meeting you in 2020 and to reciprocating your very generous hospitality.

We had a two week exchange with Bruce and Val in their beautiful renovated barn in Normandy, France. The barn is extremely comfortable and spacious, with a well equipped kitchen and a huge selection of information and interesting books on the local area. The region has a great deal to explore for those interested in the history of the D-Day beaches and also the beautiful historic villages, local calvados and cheese tasting, stunning coastline and a day trip to Mont Saint Michel is recommended! A hire car is necessary to tour the area. The friendly neighbours met us with the keys and gave us some local tips. Bruce was gracious and easy to communicate with, providing wonderful directions and local knowledge. We did a non-simultaneous exchange, so had the opportunity to meet Bruce and Val in Australia. They are thoughtful hosts and gracious guests!
