The combination with the silent, beautiful garden, with chicken, the memorial park behind the gate, the small "village" Pinner and London City was perfect for our family. We are so grateful for this swap.

Read More...This was a brilliant exchange. Richard and Katherine's house was everything we were looking for for our family reunion with our daughters and three year old grandchild and was a spacious base, plus garden and spectacular park right next door, which met everyone's needs. The access to central London was excellent with the underground station five minutes walk away and a regular service to the West End every 8 minutes taking about 25 minutes. We took full advantage for theatre, concerts and visiting friends in London. All aspects of this exchange, non-simultaneous in this case, went smoothly and we would like to thank our hosts and their children for making us so welcome.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We live in a five bedroom house in the quiet London suburb of Pinner.
There are four children's bedrooms.
There is the use of Wi-fi and bose music systems, Satellite tv, Wii, Xbox, DVD with lots of movies for the kids and the parents, for those rainy days.
There are 8 bikes (4 adult and 4 children) available for use.
Parking is available in the carport outside the house.
We have 4 chickens in the garden, which need to be given food and water. We also have some tropical fish which need to be fed.
Our kids have looked after various other pets (including dogs) on previous exchanges and would love to do so again.
Our 16 year old daughter would love to do a youth exchange in a French-speaking country.
We look forward to hearing from you.
We respond to all requests.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our house is in a great location, ideal for families, with great transport links and just five minutes walk to Pinner Underground Station. Good motorway connections for exploring further afield (e.g. Oxford, Bath etc). Our house is situated within Zone 5 travel zone in one of London's quieter suburbs. 30 minutes drive from Heathrow Airport (but not on the flight path!) . Shops and restaurants within walking distance.
The house is spacious and backs onto a 13 acre park (access via our own gate) with play area for young children, outdoor gym, duckpond and cafe.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Now is an excellent time to visit London as a number of top attractions have been renewed/ reopened e.g. Kensington Palace; Imperial War Museum; Cutty Sark Ship at Greenwich; St Paul's Catherdral; and Crown Jewels display at Tower of London; and there is a new cable car Thames crossing.
Our house is also very convenient for Wembley Stadium and the Harry Potter Studio Tour.
Best of both worlds - quiet suburb but easy access by Tube to the numerous attractions of Central London.
Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
We are a family of six with four children. We have had wonderful exchanges in France, Belgium, Norway, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, United States , Turkey and New Zealand (as well as the UK). We would happily go to any of those places again; but somewhere different would also be good - we really are open to anything!
We are always open to New Zealand at Christmas as we have family there - we want to go there for Christmas 2019.
