Our house is set in a private conservation area with grass verges and pretty front gardens. The Rookfield Garden Village was constructed approximately 100 years ago by a well know local family and the 4 roads which make up the area are delightfully harmonious. Local shops in Muswell Hill provide plenty of variety and the Farmers Market, held on Sundays, has won many awards. Highgate Underground is a pleasant walk through local woods or nearby buses link directly to central London. Mainline Train Stations can all be reached through the Underground system opening up the possibility of visits to many well know tourist destinations, including Bath, Oxford & Cambridge. You'll need plenty of time to enjoy all that London and the surrounding countryside have to offer.
