We are a married couple and always on the look out for new home exchanges. Our home is located in Atworth only twenty minutes from Bath, England.
We have lived in Atworth together for the past fifteen years. Heather works for a Local Authority and Alan is a manager at a local charity. We both originally come from Scotland, Alan from Edinburgh and Heather from Troon.
We have found that home exchanging is a great way to see parts of towns and countryside that we wouldn't otherwise get a chance to see. We have exchanged in Scotland, Yorkshire, London, Berlin, Montpelier, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Vancouver, Calgary, Phoenix, San Francisco, Portland, Philadelphia, Santa Fe, New York City, Adelaide and Cairns.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our home is a semi-detached cottage built about 1800.
The back of our home has a wonderful view over Neston Park Estate.
We have two double bedrooms and living room with stereo, TV and , DVD player and a log burner. The larger bedroom has a king size bed, our second bedroom a queen size bed. We have a small study with a computer with high speed Internet access - perfect for a a bit of WFH (if you have must). We have a roomy kitchen with fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob. In our utility room we have a washing machine and tumble dryer. Our home is clean, warm, quiet and comfortable. We have a garden that has table and chairs for eating out on warm evenings.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Atworth is a quiet village just outside Bath. We have two lovely village pubs within walking distance of our home.
We are close to many local attractions including; Great Chalfield Manor, Lacock Abbey, Bowood House, The Courts Garden, Castle Combe, The Peto Gardens, Avebury, Stonehenge, Stourhead and Longleat.
In nearby Bath you can also find; Roman Baths Museum, Bath Abbey, Herschel Museum of Astronomy and the Holburne Museum.
There are also golf courses in nearby Whitley and Cumberwell Park and opportunities for hiking starting in Atworth.
You will need access to a car to make the most of your trip - we may be able to arrange insurance for you to use ours.
