We are a retired couple who have been exchanging since 1989. We have completed one hundred exchanges since then! We love exploring new places, but we only exchange within the UK now and are not looking for exchanges in big cities, nor do we generally look for exchanges during school holidays - especially in popular holiday areas. We are happy to care for cats, rabbits, guinea pigs etc, but not dogs I'm afraid, nor do we welcome dogs into our home.

Read More...Jean and Paul were brilliant communicators prior, during and post our exchange. Their home was in a fabulous setting overlooking Fenfairfechan and within easy reach of Bangor and Conwy. The house was extremely welcoming and comfy and the barabrith was delicious. The birds that visited the garden were in abundance. Sitting in the conservatory looking out over the sea was such a delight. Although it rained we managed to get out and about and visited Aber falls, a spectacular waterfall and had a nice lunch at the Aber falls distillery by the river. On Anglesey we had a delicious tapas in Beaumaris and enjoyed the varied independent shops. We had a bracing walk along Trearddur Bay beach and a great day out a Portmeirion where the prisoner was filmed in the 60s. A great week and highly recommended. Thank you Jean and Paul.
