Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Kingston Blount is a quiet very pretty village in the foot of the Chiltern hills. It is close to the historic Ridgeway path that runs all the way to Avebury. It is surrounded by farm land. There is a medieval church in easy walking distance down a footpath in the next village, Aston Rowant, and a lovely pub in Crowell. It is well situated to travel both to London (40 mins on train) or Oxford (20 mins by car). We would lend a car if needed. Nefyn is a town on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales - we have a family cottage there within walking distance to the sea - from the back garden gate to the footpath. It is about a 4.5 hour drive from Kingston Blount.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Our house is in a quiet village and the main attractions are the walks and runs through the countryside. It is close to an area of outstanding natural beauty - beech wood forests and open pasture land. You can easily get to both Oxford and London - we would leave a car for use. And you could drive to the train station or park and ride.

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
We would expect to find our house exactly as we left it and would leave it very clean. We have a husky type dog, Rosie, so would love it if we could do a house swap with someone who would enjoy looking after her, but would rehome her during your stay if that doesn't work.
