Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home

We love Dorset's beautiful World Heritage Jurassic coast and beaches including Durdle Door, Old Harry Rocks, Studland, Ringstead and Weymouth beaches. Go fossil hunting in Lyme Regis or Kimmeridge, explore the lost village of Tyneham, visit Corfe Castle and take a ride on the steam railway, hike along the south west coast path discovering secluded coves such as Lulworth, Chapman's Pool and Dancing Ledge, or try your hand at sailing and paddle boarding.

In Dorchester you can find a Roman amphitheatre, visit Roman town house, and learn about Dorset's vibrant history from the Jurassic through to Viking invasions, the infamous Judge Jeffrey's and Dorchester's famous resident, Thomas Hardy, at the Dorset County Museum and Shire Hall.
