Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Contemporary home overlooking Bristol Channel. Set into the hillside, the top floor has a 40' open plan living area, containing a modern kitchen, dining / living area with log burner. There are two sets of sliding doors onto the balcony which overlooks the Gordano valley and Bristol Channel and upstairs patio area with gas fired BBQ. Down stairs we have 4 bedrooms one on suite bathroom and a family bathroom and access to a large sunny garden.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Clapton in Gordano is a beautiful quiet village with a country pub. It is a 10 minute drive from the vibrant Town of Portishead with its marina, restaurants, coffee bars and shops. The historic citys of Brsitol 7miles and Bath 22 miles are easily accessible by car and rail, the local railway station is a 10 minute drive and the M5 motorway junction is a 5 minute drive. We are in the perfect location for short trips to Dorset, Devon and Cornwall or across the Severn Bridge ( you can see this from out balcony) into Wales to visit the city of Cardiff.

Bath: Georgian city with world heritage architecture and Roman baths. Bristol: Brunels suspension Bridge over the Avon gorge, theatres, museums, parks. National trust: Tyntesfield ( 10 minute drive) , stourhead, lacock abbey. For walkers: Medip hills, Brecon beacons and Cotswolds all with day trip distance. Victorian town of Clevedon with its grade 1 listed pier. Cardiff: Castle , museum, Bardiff bay. Cycle paths: strawberry line to Cheddar, Brsitol to Bath Cycle track.
