The house at Otley was well located for visiting the sights of South West England and had lots of room to spread out and enjoy their lovely garden. We would highly recommend them as exchange partners.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our house, built in the seventies in a "cottage style", lies quietly within the Village Conservation Area opposite the Village Hall, a former Weslyan Chapel dating back to 1817. The house has 3 double bedrooms and a single bedroom and 2 bathrooms upstairs and a cloakroom downstairs The house is surrounded by a sunny, secluded, tree-lined garden bordered by a seasonal stream.
The spacious kitchen/breakfast room overlooks the garden, the lounge is dual aspect, whilst the formal dining room is located at the front of the house. We also have a study and separate utility area.
Driveway parking is available for four cars.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Thruxton is a quintessentially English village (population Circa 650) with thatched cottages, village green, two pubs and a church dating back to the 13th century. We are ideally placed for visits to Stonehenge/Avebury Ring (15 and 30 minutes), the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury (30 minutes), Oxford (an hour) or the Coast and New Forest (an hour). London is an hour and ten minutes by train from our local town, Andover (5 miles).
We have lived in Hampshire, a particularly beautiful part of the south of England, for nearly 30 years. The local River Test is regarded as one of the most famous fly fishing rivers in the world and the rolling green countryside is criss-crossed with endless walking trails.
For geologists, the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site in Dorset is just over an hours drive away with its abundance of fossils. Alternatively, just enjoy the breathtaking views!
