Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
A quiet cul de sac about 2 miles from the village of St Merryn on the dramatic North Coast of Cornwall. Situated between the beautiful traditional harbour town of Padstow and the internationally acclaimed surfing beaches of Watergate Bay and Newquay. Our nearest beach at Treyarnon Bay is about a kilometre away and one of the "seven bays for seven days" recommended by the tourist board. from the beach there is good access to the cliff tops and the coastal path.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
St Merryn is a small village but has a pub and excellent bakery, takeaways and restaurants. Rick Steins Cornish Arms can be located as you leave the village but it gets very busy in summer. Padstow has many excellent places to eat and drink and some quirky shops. A good tourist information centre to help you find fishing trips, water sports, Minack theatre or day trips to other parts of Cornwall such as St Ives with the Tate Modern and Hepworth galleries.

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
The villa is a managed property and the managers and the caretakers live on site. The house is fully equipped, the beds will be made and bathroom towels provided but please do not use them for the beach. There is access to a door key from 4pm on the day of your arrival and you are asked to vacate the premises on the morning of your departure by 10.am, so the caretakers can prepare for any following guests. Please leave the property as you found it.
