Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home

Huntingdon (3 miles) has a Cromwell museum, historic churches, walks, entertainment, gyms, River Great Ouse (boat hire, fishing) restaurants and pubs. Restaurants include the Old Bridge Hotel (C18th) which is the only restaurant in the UK to have twice won the AA Wine Award for the best wine list. Trains go to London and Scotland.

Cambridge (20 miles) has significant history as well as cutting edge technology centres. Its universities were founded over 800 years ago and there are tours to the colleges, gardens, churches, libraries and many historical sights. Entertainment abounds with theatres, music venues, walks, guided tours / buses and punting. There are many eateries - for a real treat we visit “Midsummer House” Michelin 2* and 2014 Trip Advisor “Travellers Choice Award Restaurant” #1 in the UK and # 2 World Wide.

London is about 1.5 hours by rail or car. We normally drive to the underground and get the tube into the centre.

There are great rail and road links to the UK.

Our Preferences

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules

We have had rented out our home previously for years whilst traveling & working globally, and so are used to preparing for your arrival. We typically do this by clearing out wardrobes, having a comprehensive guide to the home & locality and leaving you a starter pack of food, drink and toiletries so you can feel at home quickly.

We just ask that it is looked after as you would your own, as we will do the same with yours.

Our Automatic Mercedes S350L is available for the swap.
