Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We are a retired, active couple. Our home is part of a 19th century hall now divided into 7 dwellings. Our home is the former coach house comprising of kitchen, dining room, study, ensuite double bedroom on the ground floor. One ensuite double bedroom (with storage/gym machine room), Two double bedrooms (one with double bed, one with 2 single beds), bathroom and lounge on the first floor. There are entrances to the house at the rear into the kitchen and at the front via some stone steps into the hallway. There is a driveway at the front (which is used for parking), a mature garden, patios, pond and garden furniture at the front of the house. At the rear there is a tarmac area which can also be used for parking This overlooks our neighbour's garden which leads down to the railway and river Tyne.

Our house is located in a rural area. While there is a bus from the nearest village to Hexham and Newcastle the village is over a mile away so a car is essential. Hexham offers most things. Newcastle is 30minutes drive away. We are on the border of Northumberland National Park and Hadrians Wall is 10 minutes drive away. Edinburgh, York and the Lake District are approximately a 2 hour drive away.
