The apartment is located in the heart of La Paz, a relaxed uphill area with nice views of Mount Teide and the Ocean: this is a very cosmopolitan area and offers many bars and restaurants, including some cozy tascas serving Iberico ham and Canarian traditional food.
A tennis court and a recreation ground are just downstairs, the Botanical Garden is as close as 300 meters and within a 5 minutes walk you can find el Mirador Agatha Cristhie, where you can start a nice seaview walk.
The wild and stunning Bollullo beach, located 1km east of Puerto de la Cruz, can be reached in 20 minutes, walking on a small path through banana orchards.
The Martianez lake is 15 minutes walking and the street-art painted old town could take some 20 minutes.
All the way down from La Paz to Punta Brava, passing through the city center, the old town, the fisherman's wharf and Playa Jardin is a nice promenade 100% pedestrian area.
Anyway you won't necessarily need to go too far as you will find any kinds of shops, supermarkets, ATMs, banks, car rentals, pharmacies, spas, cafes, restaurants and news-stands in less than 5 minutes walking from the apartment. The bus stop is 2 minutes walking distance and Europcar car rental is located in the building's basement.

La casa si trova nel cuore del quartiere di La Paz, una tranquilla zona di Puerto de la Cruz con una bella vista sull'oceano, le scogliere e il monte Teide; si tratta di un quartiere cosmopolita che conta moltissimi bar e ristoranti - tra questi anche diversi bistrot in stile canario (tascas) dove si può trovare ottimo Jamon Iberico oppure provare la cucina tradizionale dell'isola.
Proprio sotto casa si trovano due campi da tennis e un parco giochi per bambini; il Giardino Botanico dista meno di 300 metri e in 5 minuti a piedi si raggiunge il mirador Agatha Cristhie, da cui parte una passeggiata panoramica lungo la scogliera.
La selvaggia Playa Bollullo si può raggiungere a piedi da casa con una passeggiata di 20 minuti, attraversando i bananeti che si trovano ad est di Puerto de la Cruz.
Il parco Martianez è raggiungibile a piedi in 15 minuti scendendo lungo la scalinata che collega La Paz con la Città bassa; da qui in 5 minuti si può proseguire verso le case dipinte dagli street artists del quartiere Ranilla, nel centro storico.
Tutto il percorso che parte da la Paz e arriva fino a punta Brava, attraversando il centro città e costeggiando la Playa Jardin, è interamente pedonale.
Ad ogni modo non dovrete necessariamente camminare fino al centro città per trovare servizi: nel raggio di 200-300 metri da casa si trovano caffè, pasticcerie, ristoranti, bar, panifici, minimarket, farmacie, spa, banche e sportelli bancomat, edicole e molti negozi. I bus di linea fermano a meno di 2 minuti a piedi e la stazione di autonoleggio Europcar si trova proprio sotto casa.
