Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our flat is at La Fosca/Palamós (45 m2). We have a room with a double bed (bed of mariage). We have another room with a bunk/stretcher (two beds, up and down), and under the bunk/stretcher there is a third folding bed.
The flat has a terrace and private garden.
There is also a community zone where there is space to park bicycles and play badminton.
On the back of the community zone we have a mediterranean forest that goes to small creeks where fishing and make submarinism.
The beach of La Fosca is at 3 minutes walking.

- terrace with a private garden of 25 m2 with 2 adult's bicycles and 1 bicycle for 13-15 years (possible to rent bicycles if you need more in Palamós).

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
The appartment is located in a very peaceful and quiet residential area called La Fosca. It is separated from Palamós, and, apart from being at only three minutes from the beach, it has direct access to a forest area where pleasant walks can be taken.
At La Fosca, the basic services are available, and it has direct access to Palamós (at 8 minutes by public transport - urban bus- or by car).

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Our home is placed at 2 km from the center of the village of Palamós(Costa Brava), in a privileged geographical space, in few meters ofone of the most beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava (La Fosca beach)and at few kilometers of a mountain chain (the Gavarres), to makewalking excursions. The beach is declared blue flag (maxim categoryfor a beach). For the lovers of the sport, they can practice the cycling and walkson foot. Near exist several water-parks, equestrian sports, rent ofcanoes and tennis courts.The zone is a rich in cultural-historical patrimony. There arearcheologic excavations of the Iberian culture (Ullastret and Castell), Greek and Roman Cultures (Empúries... http://www.mac.cat/esl/Sedes/Empuries).
In the north of the region there is the town of Figueres with their famous Dalí Museum (http://bit.ly/1k0v8MW), or towns of interest like Palamós, Palafrugell,La Bisbal, Roses, Cadaqués, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, etc.
