Our Home For Exchange

Description of the home we are offering for exchange

We are also happy to provide hospitality for people who are touring . We also enjoy exchanges of just a few days in the UK and we reply promptly. We look forward to hearing from you.

We have a detached family home in Weaverham [] with a generously sized, secure and secluded rear garden. We live on a quiet road with room for 3 cars on our drive. Upstairs we have 2 king size beds and 2 double size beds. We also have 2 double bed settees. Our bedroom (with views to the rear over the Weaver valley) has an en suite and we have a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower and an additional electric shower in the bedroom over the garage. We have high speed broadband. We have a living room and separate kitchen/dining room and utility room.

The garden has a patio with seating, some steps and a tiny, shallow pond. We are 5 mins walk from shops and supermarkets open 7 days/week.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

We live in a large village with a range of shops, a library, a small heated indoor swimming pool and community centre with assorted activities. The village is in the Domesday Book and still has cobbled old footpaths, and C17th cottages which you can see on a self guided walk. The parish church is over 1000 years old ( Nearby we have the Anderton Boat Lift (, and a new and prize winning salt mining museum ( and the Weaver Hall museum in Northwich (
We are 30 mins drive from Chester ( and to the west an hour from North Wales and Snowdonia ( and Liverpool (; to the north the Lake District and to the east Manchester, Derbyshire, the Pennines and Yorkshire.
We are 10 mins drive from the M56 and M6 motorways and Manchester airport is a 20 mins drive.
