Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We are looking for Summer 2024 in the Nordics
The house (built in 1930, refurbished and enlarged in 2006) with a nice garden.
Ground floor:
Modern kitchen well equipped (microwave, oven, dish washer, kitchen aid, ice cream maker).
Sunny dining room with table for max. 10 (usually for 6), a tiled stove, and direct access to a partly roofed terrace and the garden.
Terrace with dining table for 6 and garden suite. During summer solar panels installed. Sweet and tasty grapes are growing at the terrace.
Living room with sofa, TV, DVD, PS3, and stereo equipment.

Bathroom with double washbasin, shower, and toilet.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Brunn am Gebirge is located close to Vienna and Perchtoldsdorf. Our house is located in a quite street with low traffic although the main street is in walking distance (2 min). Motorways (north/south and east/west) can be reached within 5 min. The tube/railway station can be reached within 15 min by foot or 3 min by car (free parking).
We have a lovely small french bakery just around the corner (5 min by foot), the next supermarket is also not far away (7 min by foot), and three playground (one with skateboard track) are also nearby.
Vienna is just incredible and has the best quality of living in the world, according to the Mercer 2011 Quality of Living Survey. We love Vienna, there are so many things to see (distance to the Vienna City Center: 18 km (30 minutes)
In Brunn and Perchtoldsdorf we have several jogging trails, a swimming bath (indoor/outdoor), tennis courts, a golf course and several other fitness and health sites.

Vienna is just incredible and has the best quality of living in the world, according to the Mercer 2011 Quality of Living Survey. We love Vienna, there are so many things to see.
Distance to the Vienna City Center: 18 km (30 minutes), Schoenbrunn Castle andSchoenbrunn Zoo (oldest zoo in the world): 8 km (15 minutes).
Austria's largest shopping centre (SCS) is just 10 min away (by car)
Perchtoldsdorf - enclosed by Brunn and Vienna - is a charming small town with a medivial center with vineyards and typical wine taverns ("Heurige"). The centre of Perchtoldsdorf is in walking distance (20 min)
Also Mödling to the south of Brunn is a beautifull small town with a very nice city centre (40 min by foot)
In Vienna and in the surroundings are many things to see especially with children:
