Leon and I are semi retired. We work part time, myself in health food sales and Leon installing kitchens. We try and spend as much time away in our caravan as possible, my love is singing and I enjoy entertaining the elderly and others in many places around our city. We love our garden, the climate is mild so everything grows beautifully here. We have one of our daughter and family living in Tauranga and our other daughter and her family living in Melbourne.

Tauranga is the most gorgeous city in the Bay of Plenty, with a lovely sunny climate, and is close to other cities and towns. There is lots of opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with beautiful walks, board walks, glorious beaches, and Mount Maunganui to climb or an easy walk round. There are restaurants on the city waterfront, places to picnic and enjoy the outdoors all in just a few minutes drive from our home. You can walk or bike through the bush a few minutes walk from home. There are many bush walks in Waipuna Park and Johnson Reserve which is directly across the road from us. Waipuna Park also has sports fields and a playground. Tye Park is a very safe beach and playground bbq area 2 minutes drive up the road. There are Zumba and line dancing classes held for all ages and stages at the local Welcome Bay hall in the mornings.
Rotorua is 45 minutes drive away, where there is geothermal activity, such as mud pools, geysers, hot thermal pools etc, for a lovely day out. Tauranga and the surrounding district has many avocado and kiwifruit orchards.
