The neighbourhood is quiet with approx. 5 houses located on an island attached to the main land by a bridge. There are frequent buses going to Arendal, a lively coastal town, only 20 minutes away. The local grocery shop is a 5 minute bike-ride away.

There are several beaches on the island, all within a short walk. The garden is great for badminton, croquet and other games, and the forest surrounding the house should be explored. Arendal, the closest village i busy and hosts regular music festivals
