We had a wonderful Easter week in Alesund! Our stay in Alesund at Aina's and Geir’s home fulfilled all our desires and expectations. The house was very comfortable, with three bedrooms for our use, with a well-equipped kitchen, and a large living room with spectacular views of snowy mountains, fjords with islands and Alesund area. We loved the armchairs in front of the windows! Alesund is a charming town, inviting you to walk. We toured the region around Alesund and in each trip we discovered beautyfull landscape. We were at Geiranger crossing the snowy mountains, as well as on the island of Runde where we spent couple of hours walking in sun and strong ocean wind. Every day we were in another place. The Alesund region is unique and varied. The weather was variable: a bit of rain, a bit of snow and a lot of sunny days. To be honest, this harsh season with variable weather only highlighted the beauty, harshness and majesty of the land of fjords together with snowy tops of surrounding mountains. It was a great joy to have a really warm contact with Aina and her family. We recommend to everyone exchange with this Family, especially to those who appreciates the friendly and open people!
