The lake is a 5 minute walk across the common. It is lovely for swimming, boating and fishing in Summer.
We are 3/4 hour from Treble Cone and Cardrona skifields and 1 hour from historic Arrowtown and our brasher busier cousin Queenstown.
Central Otago is famous for wonderful wine and there are over 50 vineyards within an hour of our house.
