Description of the home we are offering for exchange

ABOUT OUR LOCATION IN NZ:
We are ideally situated for holidaying in the North Island. Auckland is less than 2 hours drive away; Rotorua, Tauranga, the Coromandel peninsula (East Coast) and Raglan (West Coast) are all reachable within an hour or so. The Waitomo glow worm caves and 'Hobbiton' are each about 45 minutes drive. There are three excellent golf courses within 15 minutes drive as well as a number of attractions in Cambridge and Hamilton, which are also less than 15 minutes drive away.

ABOUT OUR HOME:
Situated in a semi-rural area surrounded by lush paddocks in the equine and rowing district of Cambridge, our home is set on 2 acres of established gardens and is centrally located between Cambridge township and Hamilton city.
Our home is single storey ranch style with art-filled and well equipped open plan living/kitchen/dining areas leading onto the pool, hot tub and a patio - all of which give us great indoor/outdoor flow.

Neighbourhood

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

We live on a semi rural road (i.e. no streetlights) between 2 semi rural areas which both have a corner store and are just 5 minutes drive. Our neighbours (including the local farmers cows) are quiet, unobtrusive and friendly. We have all the benefits of being just 15 minutes away from both the township of Cambridge and city of Hamilton with none of the downsides (as far as we can tell!).
