Harbour masters villa in historic Devonport, New Zealand. Built in 1901 with local Kauri wood. 200 meters to 2 different beaches. Perfect location for sunny Christmas break in New Zealand - we also have a Bach on Waiheke Island that can be used instead

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Historic seaside harbour town with regular ferry ride (12 mins) to central Auckland CBD. Many shops, cafes, restaurants and art galleries. Two extinct volcanoes are great to walk and give amazing views over Auckland the North Shore and the Hauraki Gulf. This was an important site for the original Maori population.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
From our house you can walk 200 meters to 2 different beaches, one on the Hauraki Gulf the other a harbour beach. North head walk is also 200 meters with stunning views. The local shops are 15 minute walk along the harbour walk way but theres are planty of local shops and cafes 5 - 10 minutes walk. Takapuna is a 15 minute bus ride. Waiheke Island is 40 minute ferry ride.
