The centre of Utrecht is very cozy and there are a lot of restaurants, bars en cultural activitiets in town. The center is accessible via two trams that runs every 15 minutes and have two stops at 8 min walking distance from my apartment. Both trams stop at the Central Station. There is also bus transport to various parts of the Center (also 8 minutes walking from the apartment). But ofcourse the easiest and funniest way to the Center is by bike .. So there are two bikes ready with which you can be in the heart of the center (under the Domtower) in max 12 minutes. Utrecht is located in beautiful nature areas where you can make wonderful cycling or walking tours. For further sightseeing, the distance to Amsterdam is half an hour by train or car.
