Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We have an exchange for 2023.
Split level house in quiet area of Haarlem. Beach 30 minutes by bike, or by train. Amsterdam 30 minutes by train. Railway station 5 minutes walk from home. By car and train all interesting cities are accessibel within limited time. The beautiful dunes are nearby.
The basement (souterrain) is rented out to a young man. It is a separate part of the house. You share the front door and the front door toilet only. But there is also a toilet on the bathroom..

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Haarlem offers a nice old centre with cultural events and museums like Frans Hals museum, good restaurants, music (classical and modern) .
The city is (not yet) overloaded with tourist. Nearby is an open air theather in the woods (Caprera). Outdoor swimming is possible in the lakes in the dunes. All interesting cities and areas can easily be reached as Holland is small.
For children we have the largest play ground of Europe in Bennebroek.(Linnaeushof) .

Please note that the house is a split level house, so you must be able to climb 7 steps between all levels.See pictures
The souterrain of the house is rented out to a friendly young lady. This basement has its own kitchen, bathroom etc.
You only share the front door, corridor and toilet. Normally we use the toilet in the bathroom upstairs.
