Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We live in Scheveningen, part of The Hague, close to the North Sea. From our house it is only a 5 min walk to the beach, pier, boulevard and dunes. The dunes are just nextdoor and can also be very well explored by bike. The Center of The Hague is only 15 min. by bike, or public transport which stops practically at the front door. The centre allows you to explore its history and cultural sites.....or just to do some shopping. Other larger cities like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Leiden and Delft are very well accessible by train or car within half an hour.
