• Friendly town with a beautiful old city-center and canals

• Train station at 1,5 mile (30 minutes to Amsterdam), bus stop in front of our house
• Alkmaar (pop: 100.000) is surrounded by typical Dutch landscape
• Excellent recreational facilities
