Lots to do and see in Utrecht - explore the old city, climb the Dom tower, visit the fascinating museums, a beautiful out of town botanic garden, outdoor swimming pools and lakes, canal boat trips, big shopping centre, restaurants and cafes in abundance and don't forget that Utrecht is bike city! We borrowed our exchangers bikes and even though we never cycle at home, we had three day tours on the bikes....well planned to hit a pancake house around mid-day. The house is a few minutes walk from the shops and 10 minutes walk into old centre. Alison & Jeff Evans

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
A spacious apartment in a church in the Eastern part of Utrecht.
All facilities are in walking distance; shop, restaurants, theatre and cinema. Several busstops are nearby. You can reach the railway station in 15 minutes by bus. The train will bring you in 25
minutes to Amsterdam, 45 minutes to Rotterdam and the Hague and Schiphol Airport. In 10 minutes by bike, you are in the outskirts of the province.
On the ground floor of the house you will find a living room with a small open kitchen (very well equipped); access to a small and quiet garden, with various nice spots to enjoy the sun. On the first floor is a master bedroom and a study with the possibility of an extra bed; a modern bathroom, with walk-in shower and two sinks. There are separate toilets on both floors.
In 2024 we are also interested in city trips in Europe for up to 1 week.
