Description of the home we are offering for exchange
I have a medium sized house in a quiet, friendly strata neighbourhood close to town. My home is close to bus, shopping, restaurants, and highways. The rancher style townhouse is a level entry end unit with an open design. Hardwood in Living/dining room. The kitchen was renovated with lovely birch cabinets and stainless steel appliances. There are two bedrooms upstairs. The large master bedroom has a double bed with en-suite and walk-in closet. The spare room has a pull out bed. There are 2 full bathrooms upstairs. The walk out furnished basement suite is self contained with a private entrance. It has a large bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and living space. This suite is often rented to a university student in September.
I have a lovely view looking north up the North Thompson Valley. WiFi is available throughout my home. I would care for your home as mine.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Close to shopping, restaurants, hiking and mountain bike trails. In winter we are 20 minutes from excellent cross country ski trails (Overlander Ski Club) hiking and mountain biking and 1 hour from Sun Peaks Resort for skiing, hiking and mountain biking in the summer. The BC Wildlife Park is worth a visit to view Grizzly and a rare Kermode bear, elk, lynx, cougar and much more. There are four wineries as part of the Kamloops Wine Trail and a cidery.
Kamloops is centrally located on an excellent highways, and is within easy driving distance Vancouver (3 1/2 hours) to the west, east to scenic national parks such as Banff, and Lake Louise and north to Jasper. Wells Grey Provincial Park, one and a half hours away has spectacular waterfalls, hiking and canoeing.
Kamloops offers multiple sporting opportunities with skiing, golfing, hiking, tennis, and water sports such as kayaking, swimming, white water rafting, water skiing, tubing,and fishing. Kamloops also has local wineries that offer tastings and tours.
